Background
Additional View was successful in winning a tender to design and create the Tasmanian Broadband Development Project brand. The digital-focused brand was to be used in context of local, state and national broadband relations. It is also used in context of investment from all areas of government, business and community in delivering a connected Tasmania. The brand was to be representative of the infrastructure development required to deliver broadband services in Tasmania now and into the future.
What We Did
The digital brand was conceived, designed and implemented by Additional View. The final brand represented the broadband projects key initiatives and is representative of the substantial investment made into Tasmania's broadband infrastructure.
Before the brand could be finalised Additional View worked closely with our client to assist in delivering the proposed designs through several layers of government approvals and make re-adjustments to satisfy all stakeholders. The branding project also needed to consider the federal government's interest and ensure the deliverables complied with both state and federal branding guidelines.
The Brand

The Tasmania Broadband Development Program design is striking and modern. The brand represents connection and communication and resembles the physical wires that connect across the state. There is a contrast between the clean type, and tangle of lines. Just as there is a contrast between the crisp logo as it floats in dark glowing blues.
The Results
The brand was successfully delivered and implemented within the required timeline and budget. Additional View also created designs for a mobile banner, website design and electronic communication templates. The brand has been used in all communications in relation to the Broadband Development Project.
